Jet Plasma is an advanced technology designed to enhance skin appearance by addressing various concerns such as wrinkles, skin laxity, large pores, acne, as well as stimulate collagen and elastin production. The Profosma Jet Plasma pen combines Cold Atmospheric Plasma, Ozone and Microcurrent technologies. It penetrates 14,000 kvolts of plasma into the dermis and subcutaneous layers, working by remodeling the skin’s structure from the inside out without causing any trauma. Cold Atmospheric Plasma destroys bacteria, and when mixed with oxide oxygen, creates Ozone. Ozone, with bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties, effectively treats wrinkles, blemishes, and various skin conditions, accelerating healing time. Additionally, Microcurrent stimulates facial muscles enhancing lift and sculpting of treated areas
Jet Plasma works by remodeling and repairing skin from the inside out. A series of 3-8 treatments is recommended. Each session can be done as soon as every 48 hours, but 1-2 times a week is sufficient to see results. The skin will continue to improve as high levels of collagen reproduce over the following 6 to 8 weeks after a series. Jet Plasma can be performed anywhere on the face and body.

Plasma is a unique state of matter that arises when enough heat or energy is added to ionize a gas. In simple terms, it’s distinct from gas due to its response to electromagnetic fields. When gas is ionized, atoms lose electrons, creating a positively charged substance referred to as plasma.
Absorption:
Jet Plasma opens the channels to the skin increasing absorption rate by temporarily shrinking the skin cells, allowing active ingredients to permeate into the deeper layers of the skin (dermis and subcutaneous) without the use of injections

Jet Plasma has an anti-pigmentation effect on the skin by suppressing melanin production.

- If you have any doubt or are unsure whether or not to treat a client, request a doctors note for clearance.
It’s recommended to wait at least 2 weeks after Botox or Filler injections to prevent potential migration. If Botox is desired after a Jet session, waiting 24 hours is advised. However, it’s best to complete the full Jet treatment series first, as there’s a 2-week interval between Jet sessions. Try to schedule Jet sessions with no more than a 1-week gap between them. Jet Plasma will not dissolve Fillers or Botox.

Does Jet Plasma hurt? No! This is a completely pain free treatment. The treatment may feel slightly warm in some places.
Are there any side effects after the treatment?There are no significant side effects following treatment. You may have some slight redness and your skin may feel tight for approximately 48 hours after your treatment. There is no shedding or peeling of skin, therefore, there is no visible downtime after the treatment.

Treatments can be done every 48 hrs. Most people are scheduling their treatments every week and seeing great results. It’s recommended to have at least 3 sessions but you can do 8 times in a series.
